Brownie

Chocolate-filled brownie from Aamanns Frokostordning.

Ingredients

Brownie
4 eggs
1.25 l sugar
1.5 vanilla pods
1 tsp salt
0.75 dl cocoa
850 g plain flour (sifted)
400 g butter
125 g chopped almonds
300 ml whole milk
300 g dark chocolate

Instructions

The dough

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees.

Whisk the eggs, sugar and vanilla together until the mixture is pale and fluffy. Melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie.

Mix the remaining ingredients thoroughly to form a thick batter.

Gently fold the egg mixture into the batter, followed by the melted chocolate.

Baking

Place the batter in a greased baking tin or one lined with baking paper and bake in the middle of the oven for 30–40 minutes. The baking time depends on the oven and on how you like your cake; ideally, it should be soft in the middle.

Allow the cake to cool before serving.
