Aamanns 1921 is located in the heart of Copenhagen, surrounded by cobbled streets and blue-patinated city towers.
Here, we combine modern gastronomy and classic Danish smørrebrød craftsmanship with the finest seasonal organic ingredients and a creative force in the kitchen.
Popular modern classics such as our hay-baked beetroot, tart apples, crispy rye bread, and fresh bay leaf emulsion regularly return to the menu.
The restaurant is furnished with Danish design from emerging local artists and draws inspiration from church interiors, featuring high ceilings, handmade benches, and large chandeliers that cast a warm glow over the guests.
1921 is Aamanns’ gastronomic flagship and sets the standard for how modern smørrebrød can taste and be experienced in Copenhagen today.
